I have 1 6 bulb T5HO fixture it had 3 10000k white bulbs , 2 blue and 1 purple .
For lighting , colour , happiest corals does anyone suggest different colour intensity lights ?
It's currently over a 90 gal bow front

My favorite combo was 3 blue + , one coral + and one purple + and one pure actinic. If I wanted it a little brighter I'd replace the PA with a C+ or B+. Back to front it would go B+ C+ B+ P+ PA B+

I understood for watts per gal I need more then 1 10kk white ?

when I had my t-5 HO I never had any whites
2 deep blue
1 purple
1 coral
and everything was happy
but since going led I wouldn't ever think of going back to T-5s

I've read a lot of both good and bad about LEDs .
I still prefer T5's or MH
It's the shimmer on the bottom I don't like from LEDs .
The initial cost is a little expensive but considering each T5 bulb is from $25-$40 each every 6-8 months . LEDs could be more worth it in the end .

I had a purple and a coral bulb when I had my 5th lights also, don't recall what they actually were, but searched for those terms to get then in advice of a fellow keeper, they did a nice job on the corals
