Hey everyone,

I am wondering what type of osmocote everyone is using for their tanks. I know there is a few different types... so which kind are you using in your tank?

Indoor outdoor formula... Could not find the plus so had to go with the regular.

Is this the powder formula? I've seen pellets so I'm wondering which would be best. I would think if its pellets and they don't break down it could harm fish...

It's pellets.., it doesn't harm fish... It' not much different than liquid ferts or root tabs. A trick I learned is to freeze 5-6 pellets in tank water, then plunge the ice cube into the substrate ... Ice melts, but the pellets stay embedded.

Ahhhh very interesting. Thank you for the help going to pick up some this week and give it a try with the icecubes.
