I definitely would not. They require groups of 3 and 20 gallons minimum!

Yes. I would return it if you already have it. Your tank is stocked just fine without it.

Lessen the amount of light that enters your tank or simply wipe the algae away. Fish don't always solve algae problems and you don't have any room left in your tank for anymore fish.
