pearls and dwarfs

Has any one had any success keeping a pearl gourami and a dwarf gourami in the same tank. I have a 36g bow front. I already have the dwarf, he's still pretty young not even full grown. I love to get a pearl to throw in there I just don't want there to be any throw downs.

I would say no but I've never tried it. I'd say there's a good chance they will fight constantly.

Gouramis can be aggressive but dwarf and pearls are generally more peaceful so I don't know what you could expect.
