hello hello

ok, so is ANYONE from perth? I *think* there are a few of you out there...
I've got a 20g planted community tank and REALLY want some shrimp in it...however all the stores I've been to don't sell shrimp...or know of any others that do (surprise surprise). So my questions are:

Where can I buy some fresh water shrimp form? (other then the net)
Is it an ok idea to add a few small shrimp to my tank?
Does anyone else have shrimp in a tank with fish?
Are they hard top keep?
What do you need to do?
What kind of shrimp should I get? etc...etc...
feed?

I really hope I can get some, becasue it would be soooooo cool to have somthing other thsn fish and a few snails in my tank!

Many thanks in advance
Ry.

totally tanked in cannington sells them as live food.

vebas in o'conner has a salty one that is over a foot long.

Thanks guys...

Matty- Cheers dude. I'll check out totally tanked in Cannington...grab some shrimp and see if they could/can survive in my tank. I fear that they'd just die...or get eaten, but I think havin gsome shrimp in my tank would be so cool.
I'm surpisred I haven't seen any freshwater tanks with shrimp in them if they are such good cleaners and so interesting...
Anyhoo...
thanks again.
Ry.

Most shrimp in a fish tank are food, sooner or later. They molt, and are easy pickings before the new exoskeleton hardens, provided they live that long...
