They really are! I got them on a complete long shot. I figured if they sucked then I would just repackage them neatly and return. I know that's bad.... But.
They have really paid off. They sell the add on strips which are 2x15 inch. I'v added them and I'm super happy! If you wanted to you, you could replace the 9 inch ones you get to start. With the bigger ones and have a bit brighter lights

Finally got to remove the stones holding down the driftwood an it not float!!!! super super happy!! Here are some pics. Excuse the cloudy water from the rearrange.

That pc was actually pasted down to me. The last owner never used it. So it sat on a covered porch for about a year. When I got the 75 he offered it and I grabbed it. One of the LFS sell pcs that aren't as big for about $60.

Never heard of fire ring danios, but their pretty. Can you post a picture of your melon sword? I had what I THOUGHT was one. I just want to see if yours looks similar.

Ok, so taking a picture of a danio is like taking a picture of a guppy. A good one is very rare, LOL! So I found a pic showing what they look like.

Mine are more red then gold around the body. I would say they are a medium size danio. They super cool guys. My wife (Fancytails) surprised me with some rummynoses yesterday afternoon. They are schooling together which is nice

I like the coloring alot on the FR Danios! Are they as active as other Danios? I love my Rummynose! How many did you get?
