I have an AquaPro fixture over my 48x24x24 120 gallon, fixture has 2x150w MH 1400k phoenix bulbs, 2x95watt PC 420nm antinics.

Current photo period is antinics 14 hours and MH 9. I have a mixed reef with SPS, LPS, Zoas, star pylop, and aneomes. I would love to cut it back to save power but I don't want to sacrifice any of the health and growth though.

Most people run their lights: 8-10 hours of white with an extra hour on each end for the blues. Try cutting back a little each week to get to this point if that is what you want to do.

Ok, ok so maybe keep it down to 12 hours and 9-10 whites, 12 blue.

Yeah. I would do something so that I can enjoy the tank in the evening. So for eight hours of white I would have the actinic come on at noon, halides on at 1pm, halides off at 9pm, and actinics off at 10pm. This way I have more than just an hour or two to enjoy the tank when I get home for the evening.
