Ok i took this picture with a crappy 3.2Mpix camera. I used Photoshop CS to do the adjusting and cropping. Just an example of what you can do...It's not the best, but its ok..The first is the original...

I use Photoshop CS. It is about a $750 program, but you can get it for about $200 if your a student. You can also use photoshop elements which is the same program with less options, but enough to do this. The church bought this program for graphics creating and editing for web and advertisment.

Your wrong RR.......It was MORE than a bit OTT looking back at them...:D

This is really my first time trying to spice them up. All I did though was use auto levels, unmasking, and blur. I just read a tutorial on this, so I am having a bit of fun....

The last one I posted before this was not too bad...

:p

Shadow recovery
Manual levels
contrast
saturation

BTW, you should talk the church into upgrading to CS2 ;)

That is an EXCELLENpic there rev!!!! It's got a nice composition, good exposure tight focus etc...

As for the shadow recovery, in PS CS go to Image>adjustments> Shadow/highlight recovery. In the box that pops up, the shadow slider will default to 50%, usually this is too much, watch your histogram and watch for color noise.
