I went back to my home country for 2 weeks, stopped by about 8 shops and took a lot of pictures. There are a lot of cool fish there. Below are some of the pictures I took.

There is over 100 pictures I took and I am still trying to organize them on my website. If you are interested to see more, you can check "Other Fish & Aquaria Discussion" section at www.CarolinaFishTalk.com.

Welcome to AA!!! :multi: :multi: :multi: :multi: :multi:

Nice pics - especially the last three.
How did the selection and prices in Taiwan compare to stores here in the States?

I stopped by so many shops, I didn't really pay much attention to the price, however from reading what's written on the tank in the first picture. Each fish is about $20 USD, buy 10 get 1 free.

That huge red arowana is about $2850 USD. That arowana is huge, maybe around 50cm to 65cm

That fish with leg is about $90 USD

As for selection, I was on a street with about 10 fish shops, it is like a central location for all the shops. Most of them have different types of fish and plants. Also, Taiwan is a tropical island and very close to singapore, hk, japan and etc, therefore the selection is huge.

I went to your site and I can't find the other pics.. where can I find them?

BTW, that fish with legs look cool..

If you go to "Other Fish & Aquaria Discussion" section right under the saltwater section, there are 3 threads with pictures.

I am adding more in the near future.

That arowana is gorgeous!
Those parrotfish are dyed, aren't they? They look way too red to be the natural color.
Thanks for sharing.

That's what a lot of people say about parrotfish, but I am really not sure myself. However, I remember when I was a kid, I caught one parrotfish in the lake and it was bloody red....

Btw, I just added 10 more pictures on my site. I update the pictures every 2 days or so

Well, FW parrotfish (not to be confused with the parrot cichlid Hoplarchus psittacus) are man-made by crossbreeding. They aren't found in the wild, unless of course a fish keeper released them in there.
