Any idea why I have a pink tint on my substrate and a ring of it around my tank?

How old is your tank cuz it looks like the start of a pink diatom bloom that my tank has right now

No such thing as pink diatoms, but it could be coralline algae, or cyanobacteria.
If it's hard to scratch off of the surfaces with your fingernail, it's coralline- a calcium based algae. If it's slimy, it's cyanobacteria. The cause of the latter is excessive nutrients. Water changes, vacuuming out what you can with each change, and cutting back on feeding is the cure.

It comes off real easily with the magfloat, so I don't think its coralline. Although I wish it was. That seems to be growing very slowly on only one of my rocks. I'll cut back on feeding. Thanks.

Ok ill try what he said but a lot of people told me that their tanks went from brown to red diatoms and my tank is only 2 months old so thanks
