Pleco diet

I have 1 Pleco that can't get enough zucchini, broccoli ect - loves it!! And another who could care less. All she cares about is munching driftwood. Is vegetables essential part of diet or a treat?

They need plant in their diet but are you sure they aren't getting enough from your tank to where they don't want supplimented food? Still it should be offered at night after lights are off at least 2x a week. What about algae tablets? I have a female longfin albino bn and sometimes she eats the food left for her and sometimes not, but I always offer it.

She eats algae wafers. Thera-A, shrimp pellets ; no veges though
My male BN eats everything I put in tank

I wouldn't worry since she's eating those two items as they both have plant matter in them. If she's growing and looks good don't worry.
