Pleco turning white is it bad?

So I tried to get a picture of it but right after I took this picture he swam out a very pale in spots went to get phone again and went back to this spot and looked just like this again. Should I be worried?

Picture doesnt show much as far as pale or patchy spots? Plecos can camoflauge to match their surroundings- you could be seeing it do this. Mine does it, she will get lighter colored patches almost like cow print. They come and go.
As long as its not a fuzzy white spot or obvious damage- I'd think its fine.

that’s normal in my experience i’ve had two plecos for years and they’ve both always done this mostly when the light is on
