I was looking at the sump for my new tank and I'm still not sure exactly how I want to set it up. Originally i wanted to have an external fuge and use the 20G long for skimmer/heaters and stuff.

Would it be better to just put a fuge section in the sump instead?

The larger your fuge, the better IMO. where it's located isn't as big of a deal as the size of it. Having it separate requires more equipment/plumbing, though, so it's a consideration.

I think I'll just stick with the external fuge. That way I can over-complicate something simple
