My girlfriend wants to know if there is such thing as a freshwater seahorse?

What a ridiculous question! XD Hippocampus are primarily marine with one species "reported" in and around freshwater habitats (H. spinosissimus); More likely a freshwater inlet creating a brackish environment with more emphasis of seawater. Of pipefish there are marine, brackish, and freshwater species.
