Possibly dead snail

So I got a small apple snail for my fry tank yesterday. When I woke up this morning he wasn't moving around as of 4 hours ago and he still isn't. Any ideas?

I don't know about sails but I hope he is ok.

4 hours isn't that long for a snail not to move. If its still not moving get it out and give it a smell if it stinks its gone I'm afraid

Yeah, if he is stinky he is definitely dead, a dead snail smells awful. Also, if he is not dead, you should not be able to open his door. I always hate trying to determine if snails are dead. I would hate to get rid of the poor things if they are still alive.

Yeah I have a trapdoor and he didn't move for two days. I threw in an algae wafer and after about an hour he got up and went to eat.
Lazy buggers.....hope yours is okay

He is doing fine but,.... He is floting now and when I look at him it's like on the top of his shell there is a big air bubble I've tried flipping him over to let it out but nothing came out any help?
