This is just an informal sort of survey. I'm interested in knowing how often people test their water after a tank has finished cycling.

For myself it's always depended on the tank size and what was in it. Generally though water tests coincided with water changes about once a week.

Depends on my previous readings. If something was off during the last test I'll check again in a few days to make sure my "cure" worked.

Usually once a week

For my shrimp tank, I check the TDS weekly and that's it. My other tank never gets checked unless something appears to be wrong.

I used to test weekly, then went to monthly, now I only check if I lose a fish. (which I haven't for 6+ months). I have three tanks.

Maybe if you tested you wouldn't lose any!!!
