Well fish tank masters I just picked up my two marimo moss balls. I reply like them. The neons and the flame gourami seem to really like too!

29 gallon half real plants half silk... Got tired of my bristlenose pleco shredding all the leaves and clogging the filter. Currently in the process of revamping the tank and adding new plants and retiring some of the artificial ones!

Just planted today with 2 mondo grasses! They actually had 2 in each pot so i have 4! I also added 3 glofish, 1 snail, and a hi fin platy.

I must say I'm not a fan of moss balls but the fit well is you're tank and look great

Id look for another plant because mondo grass is a terrestrial species

+1. They are hardy and will stay green for a while and then turn yellow and either away. Some pet stores will label these as terrestrial or semi-aquatic; some will not.

Idk. Couple months maybe. Not always labeled properly. Always pays to do research before you buy.

I found it at my LFS! It was very cheap too! I got very lucky, although it has caused many problems: slime, algae, fungus even after boiling multiple times

agreed, and the incandescent bulbs you have, will not grow any plants regardless. with those standard 10 gallon hoods, i just get a couple of coralife 15w daylight bulbs.
