Pregnant platy

I am getting concerned about my one platy, I'm sure she is pregnant, but she has been big for a while now, it's definitely not over feeding, but I'm worried if she holds the babies too long she will die. What to do!

No she's a she, her fin was just up haha trust me!

guppy gestation is 28 days and generally hold around 30 fry (rough estimate) but can carry upto about 200. yes she is HUGE, but if the timings match up ok, might just be a big load.

have to be honest i dont have massive experience with this... i just read a lot

are you sure its pregnant

i have heard that if the mother is stressed it will hold the babies for a long time, but can lead to them aborting or being re absorbed?
