So my new valentini puffer after being added to my tank for four day he got suck to the side of my power head. Well I was sleeping at the time so I never noticed it. I guess he was there for a while cause he was dead when I found him.
Prior to that he was really healthy and eating great.

So I had to fix my power head so it doesn't happen again.

It's a sump pre filter. I bought a 4ftx4ft square for $2.30.

I used rubber bands to hold it on the head.

It should work.

I also purchased a 180 gallon tank today. Don't plan on setting it up for a long time though.

So with that being said I bought a porcupine puffer baby to raise in my current tank. :)

He was a baby valentini puffer they are not most fish. Not built to be as good as other fish at swimming.

In most cases, healthy fish never get sucked into/ stuck on intakes

Yes, one of my angels was once foraging for food and got stuck on the filter , but being in top health he was able to wriggle of. He almost gave me a heart attack!!!

That's to bad!! Sorry for your loss! My fuzzy dwarf lionfish loves the power head! She will lay on it all the time. But your new puffer is absolutely adorable!!!!
