Is there a reason why you must use Prime versus another dechlorinator? They seem to do the same thing, unless Prime dissolves bleach as well.

A lot of dechlorinators have a slime coat(amine based). And this slime coat makes Purigen toxic

Prime contains no amine so its safe.

Also some amine based products can render Purigen non-regenerable

Good point! I think I suggested only using Prime, but I should probably add that comment to the article. I think they updated their FAQ because I don't remember reading that one.
