Putting Aquarium Fish into a Pond

I've had what I think is a Veil tail goldfish in a 25L tank for years, but he's outgrown it. I was wondering if I could put him in my (much) larger pond- its about 500 Gallons, but already has 6 fish that are much larger than he is. Will the move/ the other fish kill him?

4 standard goldfish and 2 what I think are Ryukin. All about 6/7 inches long

The Veil will have a very hard time and could easily become a target for the bigger, faster goldies. It is also slower and will have a harder time competing for food.
