Ql 25 uv

Hi Everyone,

I new to the site, so please help me out.
I'm hook up my 220g and I'm not sure if I should hook my QL25 UV into my return pump or keep it in my sump only, and is it ok if my pump is strong?

Looks like your UV is rated for a max flow of 760g/hr. As long as your pump is under that flow you should be fine. If your return pump is at a higher rate, you can 1) throttle your return pump down with a ball valve with a T or without, or 2) buy a smaller pump with less flow and keep it in your sump.

I think that uv might be undersized for the size of your tank if it was bigger the flow rate would be greater. I have a 25 watt on my 90 gal.
