QT tank

For a QT tank do you need sand or anything in it? Or is a filter and heater fine?

No substrate. Maybe a piece or 2 of PVC fittings for fish to hide in. I do have a piece of l/r in mine. The rock stays in the qt, I will not put it in my dt. A heater and filter will be perfect.

What do you mean PVC fittings?

Like 2 or 3 pieces. 1.5" coupler or 90'. Just so the fish had somewhere to hide.
