Ok so I got a 75 gallon tanks from a buddy for free (well i take care of their animals just about every other weekend). Anyways it has a nice protiene skimmer and some other type of box with it (ill have to inspect it further when I go back tonight to pick it up. Anyways in one of the boxes it has some live rock. There is green algae all over it but I know the stuff has been sitting out side for at least months and he has had the tank unused for probally a year. The rock and box are sitting outside and have probally been rained on. What is the best way to get the live rock in best shape to put in my 10g SW tank? Also what ways should I go about cleanign the skimmer and other box?
