I have a torch coral and Hammer coral relatively close to each other in my tank, they have been next to each other since I put them in my tank. They are both thriving well next to each other, I know that both species can extend their tentacles about 6" out and was wondering if by having them so close to each other was a bad thing.

There's a possibility one could sting the other and one probably will once they get bigger. I would separate them a couple more inches.

Euphyllia Corals are generally safe to keep near each other, though they will sting to death anything else that gets too close. I'd say you only need to move them if you notice one looking unhappy on the side closest to the other.
