SO glad to hear he's doing better!!! Good for you! :D
I think I am THE worst aquascaper on here, so I won't be much help there LOL. ;) But I do like the higher to lower (left to right) or built up on both sides with the middle empty.

IDK Dk... I might be down there with ya as far as aquascaping goes lol. I tend to have my own style with things, I really like the way my 10 looks but the 30 (or 29 whatever the **** it is) is going to be a little bit tougher. I have a piece of driftwood in a cool spot but there is a vase I have that might go bye bye...

sorry went on a rant lol. Congrats OP!

Oh here's some info on Aquascaping, and I think it was mgamer that had the link for the 'golden rule'.

LOL, I don't fix the tank to my liking, I arrange it to however the fish act (where they hang out or hide), which is probably part of the issue LOL.

Well, today I noticed tiny white spots on Lightning's tail and fins. Looking it up...

Well..... just got home and Lightning was face up in the filter intake... not sure what I'm going to do now...

think I'll read the threads on stocking a 10g properly and start over the RIGHT way...

I'm sorry to hear that :( I had an extremely similar experience when we got our first tank (10 gal as well) and lost the Rosie barbs we got. at least you now know a bit more and can continue properly. read up on fishless cycling, it's so easy to do, just takes some patience. good luck and don't forget to keep us updated with what you end up doing with your tank :D
