quick question about corals

Do corals such as xenias, pom poms, and a kenya tree attack each other if they are too close?

I'm not sure about the other two corals, but I have tons of different types of Xenia in my tank, and have never seen anything that would make me think they're the least bit aggressive.

Typically your okay if you keep softies with softies. The important thing is keeping softies and stonies in the right balance. If your losing new aquisitions frequently but have healthy established corals, its likely a sign of chemical warfare.
