Hi everyone I'm a complete newbie and was wondering if anyone could please name and maybe sex the fish on the right please ?

My guess is a Jack Dempsey, female but hard to tell form the photo.

Now I think its a convict hybrid but not sure awesome fish!!!!

Shape looks very convict... stripes look very convict... fin colors look very jack dempsey...

Actually I think that is a Curviceps cichlid.
