So if i don't ever add rcs to a tank and just let mine continue to breed will this be ok

it will be okay yes... but when i was in your position i was advised to buy RCS from other breeders and other stores... this means that they will be more diverse and it helps weed out weak strains of shrimps and make them stronger... about every few months i just buy a few from different breeders and stores around my city. and i have done that about 4 times since i set up my tank and by now i should have a diverse, healthy and strong breed of RCS
