RCS tank as livebearer breeding tank?

Can a 10 gallon Red Cherry Shrimp tank be used as a Platy/Guppy/Molly breeding tank? I am beginning to breed these things, and I want to separate the fry from the big fish. Would these two species bother the other? Would the fry eat the RCS babies?

If the fry are big enough, absolutely.

I'd say smaller livebearers, yes, but not molly or platys.
