Red spot on pleco

Today when I was feeding my fish I saw a red spot near my plecos head. Im doubt my other fish did it and the only one that could've is my dwarf gourami but I doubt it he never bothers anyone. I think he could've bump his head on somerhing . Here's a pic if you look closely above his left eye you'll see a red spot. Please help me find out what it is. She's a bristlenose pleco I forgot to say.

It's possible it's an injury, hard to tell. Keep an eye on it and do a water change. Be prepared to quarantine him to heal him/her up faster or incase you need to medicate but if the water stays super clean it should heal up ok. Watch for opportunistic infections. Keep a close eye on the wound as best you can an update if it doesn't get better or looks worse.
 
I just did a water change 3 days ago would it be bad if I did another so soon?
