Well my reef tank seems to b doing great with the Marineland LEDs. My ricordias are splitting, my birdsnest is growing nicely, my montis are getting bigger (almost too quickly), war corals expanding, acan is growing, candy canes getting new heads, and the frogspawn seems happy. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones? My only real complaint is that the fixture doesn't allow for separate timers for white/blue and blue.

I have the same led panel, it looks to be a decent fixture. I only had it up for a few weeks so I do not know how well it works long term, but it does make the tank look awesome.

Lights to sand distance is 18 inches. I actually raised it up 3 inches because I was afraid I might be blinding my corals. But they seemed to be doing pretty well raised or on the lip as designed.
