Does anyone know what nerite snail eggs are made from and is there a common chemical that will dissolve them? I want to clean some dragonstone and wondered if there was an easier way than manually picking them off. Im sure ive watched a video or read something about what the eggshells are chemically and that they can be dissolved but cant find it now. Something like white vinegar?

I have the same exact problem, and I've found that scrubbing my wood with a toothbrush helped remove most of them. It may be different with dragonstone though because of the stone texture; not sure if the eggs are attached differently on that.

I actually used wire wool. Worked really well. Would be too abrasive to use on wood though. For wood ive always used a dental scapel i got from poundland and pick them off with that.
