I have a 36 gallon tank with 6 bronze corydoras 6 marble mollies 8 harlequin rasboras and a clown pleco. I am looking for a replacement to my dwarf gourami that died. Preferably something that can be alone and is a decent size. Thanks.

I know I am in the minority but I am not at all fond of a "centerpiece fish." Most fish live in groups or schools or shoals and are more comfortable with others of their own species. There are exceptions, of course, like male bettas, but generally it's best to keep fish in groups of their own species. Why not a pair of Pearl Gouramis? I have six of them in a community tank, two males and four females. They are attractive and peaceful.
