So I got a new tank a few months ago at a yard sale. 29g with hood for 20 bucks.
The tank is cycled, fish and plants doing great.
But the light from the hood is a different "spectrum" than I am used to seeing. I think this tank was used as a reptile tank.
Is the light spectrum, if I am right, going to harm anything? The plants are loving it! So I am loathe to switch it out. It's crypts and anubias, so hardy plants.
