So i went to my aquarium society's auction the other day and got 6 venustus fry. They are only 1" so i put them in my fry grow out for now. Well i went to work today and came home to one of the fry on the floor all dried up. I scooped him up and was about to toss him outside and i noticed a little movement in his gills. I grabed a tupperware and put tank water in it and put him in it. Hes been in there a half hour now still alive. Hes not looking the greatest but alive! I couldnt beleive how resilient this fish is. I have no idea how long he was on the carpet but he was pretty dry. Also somehow my cat didnt notice him on the floor or he woulda been dinner. Just thought i would share this, i thought it was amazing.
