Not yet, but the BTA's body has two distinct tops, attached to one large body that looks as though it's splitting. Sorry, phrasing is tough.

They look like crap when they are splitting. They will deflate and spread way out to cover much rock surface. It kind of looks like it got caught in a blender. It might go into hiding until it completes it's splitting. Ours has split twice in the last two months. Pic in my gallery.
My BTA has only one mouth but similar to the way my mushrooms/rics get "pinch points" where the dividing line is my BTA has two spots that look like they're starting to come towards the mouth. I don't see it often because it is normally out of sight. I guess if it should have 2 mouths first then it isn't actually splitting... Interesting.
