Our pleco is sitting on eggs. It is a community tank and the rock she is on is out in the open. What should we do if anything. The only kinda aggressive fish is a tiger barb but she chases him away when he gets near

Not really but my wife would not get rid of the eggs. So i guess we are going to try and let them hatch. Is it possible to move the rock and the pleco to another tank without the pleco abandoning them

What other fish are in the tank? Do they pose any threat to the eggs?

If you’ve just got the one barb that’s causing a nuisance, I’d think it would almost be better to move the barb to a temporary tank. But, that would only make sense if the barb is the only threat in the tank

We bought a 5.5 gallon tank yesterday and moved the rock and pleco out by its self. It took overnight but it is sitting on the eggs now and fanning them. I think it is ok but we will see. Thanks for the response
