Rustish color

I'm getting this weird rust color stuff on my rocks, coral substrate and on the glass. Can someone help me pleeease!! The fish in the tank are African chiclids..

If it brushes off easily it's diatoms. Nothing to worry about, just ugly. Snails and otocinclus eat it, otherwise, brush it off when you do water changes and hope it goes away.

But I got a coralife turbo twist ultraviolet sterilizer for this.

That helps for stuff that's floating in the water, not so much for stuff growing on things.
