SA/CA stocking ideas!!??

I like firemouths
I dont like hondurans or rainbows

Ive come actoss a deal for a pair of firemouths... If i was to buy those would they have to be alone, or could they have companions?

Any other ideas???

The pair only in my experience.

Umm swap the red point and rainbow for
1 green sevrum
And though not a cichlid or from Americas
1 blue paradise fish
With the 1 fire mouth

Ok i could just do a pair. Once they get bigger and can see their personalith i might add one more fish....

You mentioned a severum, ive been told by many people and website that they grow too big?

Gold or green sevrum max out around 8 inches.

Do some of them get bigger? (Just in case i see a different kind so i know if its an option or not) could i do more than one?) websites give lots of different data on the sizes of severums


Its not exactly what i was looking for... A bit peaceful but a cool fish

There are a few species described as Severums...
Common ones in the trade
heros Severus are smaller

Heros efasciatus max out around 8-12"

The ones sold in stores are possible to be hybrids of these 2 species.
