Sand for 40 breeder

Am looking for a cheap sand that I can put in my 40 and how much will I need?

Pool filter sand is the way to go if you want white sand. Usually $7-10 for a 50 lb bag. If black sand is what you want then go to your local tractor supply company and get a bag of black blasting sand $8-10 for a 50lb bag.

If you want black $5 will get you enough to fill that and then some of black diamond blasting sand from tractor supply co or pool filter sand from a pool or hardware store
