Well Theresa, these are just a number of strains which I'm keeping and breeding. There are more than these pics show.
About the tigers... I've got three kinds overhere. The regular one, the red version and the blue version. The last two are my own creations. I know that in the meantime also in other countries like the US the red one is also available but those who created the same strain have used chilli endlers. And I didn't! For tiger hybrids already do have a red gene in them. And it's just a matter of trying to get that red appearing on their bodies.
I've noticed that in the US also snakesin endlers are called tigers from time to time. But there's a real difference between a snakeskin pattern and a tiger pattern. I've also got the so-called leopard endler. This is also an own creation.
Being active within a broad network in western-europe within the field of livebearers, I am able to get my hands on a various choice of livebearers. Which means also rare endlers (no matter N-, K- or P-class).
I've got a couple of strains which are my own creations. I'm still working on a white endler. One pic is also shown overhere. But they have to become more white.
And like I've already mentioned on this forum is that I'm judging endlers (all 3 classes), fancy and wildguppes in the Netherlands and in Germany at competitions and international championships. In Germany I'm the only dutch judge for Germany's largest two livebearer associations, the DGLZ and the IGPD. I'm also familiar with the AFV (the french livebeaer association) and Poecilia Scandinavia. We keep eachother posted of what's happening within this field.
Been active within the aquaristic field over 40 years now. Started as a young boy and never stopped. And wildguppies are a passion for over 40 years by now as well...
Take care,
Stan
