Shelless Snail?

Any idea what this little guy is. He is so hard to spot because he looks exactly like the rock. Moves around like a snail but with no shell? Is he safe?

It doesn't look like it has a shell but it really does. Their primary defense is their speed as they can't retract into their shell.

+1 on the stomatella snail. It's harmless.
