If you ever ship USA to Canada, make sure when you fill out the paperwork saying what the box conatins that you say its a gift with the value of less than $10 or the person on the canadian end will have to pay customs fees, which can be upwards of $50.

Mark the package as "Used Aquarium Products".. Technically it's not a lie..
Being that the product is used, it's exempt from most fees, with the exception of GST coming into Canada on the value marked (make this 1$ and gift and these may be avoided aswell)..
