Shovelnose cats

I'm looking at getting a shovelnose cat ether a tiger or a Lima any suggestions on what one to get. I know the tiger gets very large but I prepared to accommodate him if needed and I know the Lima gets about 18". I don't know much else. If anyone can speak from experience that would be great.

they will eat amazing size fish so be careful whats in with them , any fish 3/4 there size or smaller will be eaten, I wish there was a dwarf form

The tank it would go in now has nothing smaller that 7" so at least for now I'm sure he would be ok but I want to get a bigger tank that is all predator fish. But when they get big what do you feed them?
