They look like amano shrimp, they are sometimes called yamato too.

Hey all,

Just came back from vacation and noticed one of my three amano shrimp has grown substantially and has developed what hat appear to be large blackish gills on it belly. Is this anything to worry about?

Yeah, it's definitely berried (pregnant if you will)

Definitely berried. Do not expect any shrimplets though, they require Brackish water to survive and grow.
