I have a or should say 2 55g tanks with green/brown algae growth and fish dieing off and very discolored. I have good filtration and water movement(oxygen), hiding places ect... but dont understand. I had double the fish in the tank b4 not by choice and now that they r free and uncrowded i seem to have issues. Any ideas would be great thanks in advance and feel free to ask as many questions as needed.

Is your tank cycled? What are your parameters?
yes its been up for over a year and all tests(ph,phosphate,nitrite,ammonia,nitrate,alk,and a little on the low side ph but not to big of deal.Im not so worried about the algae but fish seem discolored and slowly fading away. They dont seem stressed. O and i have 3 yellow labs,1 blood pariot, 2 calvus blacks, and a clown loach.Honestly they were very colorful when tank was overcrowded with 3 more cats,pleco,and 3 large frontosa in the tank b4 when i didnt have the room.
