I had one almost exactly like yours. When that peeling away started, it just kept getting worse until it was nothing but skeleton. Sorry. I think I killed mine with too much flow. They don't like a lot of flow.

I moved mine to the end of the tank where there is minimal lighting and very low flow. I really neglected it with feedings. Hopefully it will puff up again and it will let me feed it.
