I have a few old silver ions, not old or rare enough to worth much than face value, but I still think they r pretty cool, if I rinsed them well could I put them in my tank? Would they affect the params? Thaks

putting unknown metals in your tank will be very hazardous. If you did want to add them to your tank, you'd need a special polymer to coat the coins to make them aquarium safe. I believe the polymer is very expensive and could distort the image of your coins. I would say no, unless you want to go through all that trouble.

If they're silver ... just silver... then they'll be harmless to aquatic life.

If they are U.S. silver dollars ... then they're worth about $22 a piece ... (but I'm with you, they'd make better decor than they'd be worth for just a few coins.)
