small white worm looking thing not sure what it is...

I have probably a good 10 visible this is new live rock and I have no fish in it yet.
 
Looks like a tube worm/feather duster to me...nothing to worry about. If you can get a clearer pic so we can make sure that will help.
 
So feather duster would grow and be a cool addition right?

I will see about using the real camara tonight.
 
I was googling feather duster and found this picture this is what they look like stuck to the side of the LR.

Do they grow?

They are mini dusters. They come and go depending on the nutrients in your tank.
 
Oh, thanks for the pic Drew, I got those too and was about to ask the same thing... :) but you posted this so thanks to you and all that chimed in :)
 
I agree with the rest, harmless filter feeders.
